Solar Saturday – July 20, 10am to 12 pm

View the surface of our amazing sun through sun-safe telescopes, with Bob Yoesle and Billy O’Keefe, Saturday, July 20, 2024 from 10am to 12 pm at Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum. This outdoor event is free of charge to the public (admission still applies to view the exhibits inside the museum).  This event is weather permitting (sorry, we can’t control the clouds). Remember to never look directly at the sun; only through special filters that protect your eyes.

If you can’t make it this day, you have one more chance – there will be another Solar Saturday on August 17, same time, same place.
