Visit Columbia Gorge Discovery Center & Museum
If you are planning a trip through the Columbia River Gorge, we hope you stop for a visit. Our museum is the official interpretive center for the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

Take Interstate 84 (I-84), get off at Exit 82, and follow the signs. We are approximately 1.5 miles west of the freeway interchange along the Historic Columbia River Scenic Highway 30.
HOURS
Temporary winter hours:
Daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
Open daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
RAPTOR PRESENTATIONS
The live raptor presentations are included with museum admission. If you are planning your travels around seeing the raptors, we suggest you call us in advance. During the summer, the live Raptor presentations are scheduled for 11 am, Tuesday through Sunday. The schedule may change to accommodate group tours or extreme weather conditions. By calling 541-296-8600 x 201 in advance, you can verify the schedule for that day.

Group Tours and Field Trips

COLUMBIA RIVER TRADING CO.
The Columbia River Trading Co. museum store is open during regular museum hours, 9 am to 5 pm daily, unless we are operating on alternative hours. You never have to pay museum admission to shop in the museum store.
BASALT ROCK CAFÉ
Although the Café is not currently open to the public, you can rent the space and coordinate on-site or off-site catering. Please visit the Basalt Rock Café page for additional information.
