Sense of Place Pop-Up: Wolverines, Foxes, and Rare Carnivores of the High Cascades

March 21 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday, March 21 at 6 PM: Sense of Place Pop-Up: Wolverines, Foxes, and Rare Carnivores of the High Cascades

We’re proud to partner the Mt. Adams Institute’s popular storytelling series Sense of Place for their first-ever pop-up event, bringing these unique events that connect people through place and storytelling to locations throughout the Gorge — beginning with the Discovery Center!

Sense of Place (SOP) features presenters with a unique knowledge of the Columbia River Gorge and who consider the natural, cultural, and political history that has shaped this place. The presenters can include scientists, tribal members, authors, farmers, and many others from throughout the Pacific Northwest. The information and stories shared at these talks deepen our understanding of the Gorge and strengthen our connection to the landscape and to each other.
