Solar Saturday
See the surface of the sun through a sun-safe telescope during Solar Saturday, Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10 am to noon, at Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum in The Dalles.
Join Bob Yoesle and Billy O’Keefe as they explain the dynamics of our amazing sun. This event is weather dependent (sorry, we can’t control clouds). If the weather looks a little uncertain, call 541-296-8600 ext. 201 to verify in advance.
This outdoor event is free to the public. Admission is only required if you wish to view the museum exhibits.
Columbia Gorge Discovery Center and Museum is located at 5000 Discovery Drive, The Dalles, Oregon. The museum is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, call 541-296-8600 ext. 201.
