Join with our partners from The Dalles Lock & Dam to learn about water safety, including how to use a throw bag and how to properly accessorize your swimsuit with a life vest.  Location: picnic area

Build a birdhouse:  register online to build and paint a birdhouse.  Cost is $15 and includes birdhouse to take home.  Tickets on sale in person at our admissions desk. Tools provided.  Two sessions with 10 spaces each at 12pm and 1pm.  Age recommendation:  5 years old and up.  Guests 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to participate in the activity.  Location:  Board Room

Wednesday
Build a bird:  meet our raptor educators and learn about our local birds with a build a bird craft.  Location:  Explorer Room

Thursday (10am, 11am and 1pm)
Nature walk on museum trail with Forest Service Rangers.  Location:  Meet at Museum Entrance

Friday
Meet the talented artists and authors as they demonstrate their work available for purchase in the museum store.  Location:  River Gallery
