Snow School Fundraiser

Join us on Friday, November 15th, from 5:30 to 9:00 PM, for a free screening of the Backcountry Film Festival! Enjoy adult beverages, raffle prizes, lawn games in the River Gallery, and a local taco truck, with all proceeds going to GCDC&M’s Snow School.

CGDC&M’s Snow School provides students in the Gorge with hands-on, outdoor learning experiences in winter ecology. Last year, we took fifth graders from The Dalles into the snow for a day of exploration and environmental education, and this year, we aim to expand this opportunity to more local schools with the community’s support. Your contributions will help more students dive into hands-on lessons exploring winter animal adaptations, snow science, and the intricacies of the winter ecosystem, all while snowshoeing on the slopes of Mt. Hood!
