Planning Your Day at the Center
Plan a minimum of two hours to fully explore the exhibits, though it is easy to spend a full day. Live raptor programs are presented weekdays at 11:00 and 2:00. Films playing in the theater run continuously – check the program schedule when you arrive to plan which films you will see. The Basalt Rock Café is open Monday through Saturday, 11:00 to 3:00, offering deli sandwiches, soup, salad, hot coffee and cold drinks. Miles of paved river front trails are handicap accessible and suitable for strolling, biking, or dog walking.
