Our exhibits are designed for self-touring and are entirely handicap accessible. Pre-arranged tour groups receive an orientation and overview upon arrival.

Arranging Your Visit for a Large Group
Reservations: 2 weeks in advance
Cost: $3.00 per student & chaperone; teachers & bus drivers free. Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and purchase orders are accepted.
Time: Self-guided tours of exhibits and films take 1-2 hours. Include additional time for school programs and lunch.
Chaperone/Student Ratio: 1:5 for grades K-8, 1:10 for grades 9-12.

Take I-84 to Exit 82, turn right on the Historic Columbia River Highway (Hwy 30), follow for 1.5 miles,
turn right on Discovery Drive and follow to the Discovery Center

Hours of Operation

9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week
Museum closed New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day

Cafe Winter Hours - November 15 - March 15:
Wednesday - Saturday, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
